Hi there! I’m an accountant and consultant by day, and event planner and decorator by night. I have decorated baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, and birthday parties for friends and family for 5+ years prior to forming Jazzy Creations in 2018.
I planned my wedding from A to Z in 2015 down to adding the bling to my centerpieces. I realized there are tons of people who do not have the time to be as hands-on as I was. As I sat at our sweetheart table, and was the only one to notice two vases were out of place, my husband said leave it be. I smiled for the pictures; and as soon as the cameras were facing the other way… I discretely swapped the vases on my table. My husband just laughed because he knew I could not help myself. It was just a vase, you say? When I have a vision, I want it to see it exactly how I envisioned it. I gave the venue specific instructions on how things were to be placed on the tables but I could not personally check before my guest entered. I know, it could have been worse, and I did not have a coordinator to be my last line of fire. My closes friends and family were in the bridal party so I did not have anyone to miss the cocktail hour to check the details. Lesson learned and challenge accepted.
I have to say my favorite thing to do is to decorate, and more specifically making centerpieces. The greatest sense of satisfaction happens when I see the final product. Whether it’s a small, fun centerpiece for a kid’s party, or a lavish centerpiece for a wedding; the centerpiece is just as the name suggests, the focus of the decorations. When a guest asks if they can take a centerpiece home (typical at baby and bridal showers) then I know they were really impressed.
My desire is to make you say WOW as you walk into the room. Be impressed, and not stressed on your day, no matter the occasion.
